Our Story
Named for the sound beneath the noise.
Sonus, Latin for sound. The name is the mission: separating the signal that drives a decision from the noise that surrounds it.
Sonus was founded to close a specific gap in federal programs: agencies were rich in data but starved for decisions. Systems didn't talk to each other, dashboards went unused, and cloud migrations stalled short of the mission outcomes they promised.
We started Sonus to do the unglamorous work that makes data trustworthy and infrastructure durable, the pipelines, the governance, the day-two operations, so the people carrying out the mission can act on what their data is actually telling them.
Today we serve federal customers through established governmentwide vehicles, pairing modern analytics and cloud engineering with a deep respect for the security and compliance realities of government work.
